United Way of the Wabash Valley Earns Top Rating from Charity Navigator

Terre Haute, IN – United Way of the Wabash Valley’s strong financial health and commitment to accountability and transparency have earned it the top rating of 4-stars from Charity Navigator, America’s largest independent charity evaluator.  The United Way of the Wabash Valley is the only 4 star rated charity in Terre Haute and joins a total of 45 in the state of Indiana.

Using objective, data-driven analysis, Charity Navigator has awarded only the most fiscally responsible organizations their highest rating of 4-stars.  They rate non-profits on their financial accountability and transparency – evaluating their business practices, governance, ethical practices, measures of openness, spending habits, and ethical best practices for fund management. Charity Navigator provides donors the information needed to instill confidence in their charitable decisions.
