To The Wabash Valley

It is a great honor to serve as the 2014 Campaign Chair for the United Way of the Wabash Valley.

I look forward to continuing the success and momentum of the 2013 Campaign.  As we begin the 2014 Campaign, we look forward to reaching out and touching the lives of the United Way families that we serve in the Wabash Valley.  At the end of our campaign, together, our hope is to look back and see that the United Way has been the catalyst for making a positive difference in those lives.

The greatest gift we have to offer as human beings is the act of giving back to those in need and we are more able to do it through working together. Part of our responsibility as members of the United Way is to identify the programs that will meet the needs of others and to help collect and distribute the funds they need. This is done through the 30 agencies and their 64 United Way funded programs, as well as our issues of Success By 6 (impacting kids from birth to age 6 and our entire community through early childhood education) and Healthier By 2020! (impacting obesity and other diet related chronic diseases), that we help fund throughout the year in our community.

So I urge you to volunteer and give back to your community. Make a visit to one of our Partner Agencies or participate in one of our programs
and then you will truly see what giving back can do.
