DOBBS PARK STORYWALK KICKS OFF THE SPRING WEATHER WITH THEIR WALK IMPROVEMENTS AND NEW FACEBOOK PAGE

Last year The Mothering As a Career Club, or MACC, revealed its completed project of updating the Dobbs Park Story Walk. United Way of the Wabash Valley was able to offer help with improvements through the Strong Neighborhoods Mini-Grant. The StoryWalk is a trail that wanders through the woods and allows children to read a story page-by-page as they take their hike.

“Our community is supportive of motherhood in any capacity. It’s a free option that you can come and enjoy any time of the year. We just really enjoy it. Everybody that comes out here kinda doesn’t really know it exists but it’s a little hidden gem of Terre Haute,” said Natalie Robins.

The books on the walk change every month so visitors can enjoy a new book with the ever-changing scenery. The walk is also maintained by the Mothering as a Career Club. You can keep up to date on the StoryWalk through their new Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61552129836709&mibextid=opq0tG
