|2014 Day of Action
|Organization||United Way of the Wabash Valley|
|Need||On Friday, June 13, the United Way of the Wabash Valley will be holding its annual Day of Action, (formerly Days of Caring) event throughout the Wabash Valley. In previous years, we have been able to mobilize over 350 volunteers from throughout the Valley.
Volunteers from major businesses, banks and other community partnerships will participate in 4-hour projects. These may include painting and landscaping at local agencies, park clean up or spending time with disabled individuals.
The focus of our Day of Action is twofold:
* To offer volunteers service opportunities with local not-for-profit organizations
* To provide our agencies an opportunity for volunteers
Day of Action is a great morale and team-building experience and gets employees involved in our community!
|Duration||June 13, 2014 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.|
|Best for||Groups, Any Age|
Various Locations across the Wabash Valley
