United Way to Present Community Conversations and Bold New Goal

Over the last two years the United Way of the Wabash Valley held over 35 Community Conversations across the Valley in order to hear the concerns and ideas from our neighbors and community members.

These conversations allowed the United Way to see and hear the often-unheard residents in our community.  These groups identified priority issues that should be addressed and barriers that prevent progress.  When the United Way began developing their new plan it was these voices that were the ones who guided its development in order to become the type of organization that this community needs.  It allowed them to look beyond their own experiences and see our community as its residents see it in order to focus our efforts on changing the real problems that are affecting our community.

Please consider joining us on May 10th at 5:30 p.m. at the United Way office to hear what these voices had to say and find out what the United Way plans to do in order to address those issues and help our community.
